So I'm new to playing an instrument. I got my nord

So I'm new to playing an instrument. I got my nord lead A1 as a xmas gift (Dec 2024) and I'm trying to teach myself how to play it. I really struggle with timing and rhythym, and my progress is sooooo sloooow. As its a programmable synth it's a pretty complex bit of kit and I think I need a degree just to know how to program the sounds to my liking.

There's loads of ways to craft a song; but with me

There's loads of ways to craft a song; but with me and Fonz, it begins with Fonz sending me his track, and I start by just humming along trying to find a decent melody line. Very often certain words or sentences start to appear, often in the middle of the chorus or verse. From those few words I then end up with a theme and then build lyrics around this.

These are my love letters from the boyfriend I had at 14 who I wrote these lyrics about. His name wasn't Harry, I have no idea where those stickers came from. The title "Forever Young" is because he died young. I'm moving house and found these along with my old diary from around that age. 🥰

Went over to Alfreton today to visit the #80svideoshop which is basically a really cool little museum. Along with all the #VHS cases you can look over there's also an #80sbedroom, some arcade games and a gift shop where I bought a really cool tshirt :) Definitely worth a visit. Loved it.
